The fourth Day:
The first day of Ayyam al-Tashriq, the second day of Ayyam al-Nahr:
- In Mina the pilgrim throws the three Jamarat on this day
. It is Sunnah to start by Al-Jamara Al-Soughra, then Al-Wusta
and afterwards Al-Kubra (jamret al-Aqaba). He throws each one
with seven pebbles saying at each throw: “ (in the name of Allah),
(Allah is the Greatest), in defiance and condemnation of satan
and his party and for Allah’s (the Most Gracious’) satisfaction”.
- He invokes after each jamra except for Jamret al-Aqaba.
He raises his hands in the direction of the Ka‘bah and says
salutations upon the prophet (peace be upon him), and invokes
for his needs and says: “O Allah! Make my Hajj righteous, my
sin pardoned, my deed beneficial and accepted and a trade that
will never fail”.
- The time of Ramy (Throwing) is from noon time (al-Zawal)
till the sunrise of the next day but in Sunnah (prophetic tradition)
it is between noon and sunset.
- Jamret al-Aqaba is thrown while the pilgrim stands in front
of al-jamra, with Mina on his right and the road to Makkah on
his left. Whereas Ramy from over the bridge can be performed
from any direction.
- As for al-Jamra al-Soughra and al-Wusta, they can be thrown
from all directions.
The fifth Day:
The second day of Ayyam al–Tashriq, the third day of Ayyam al–Nahr:
The pilgrim must throw the three jamarat also as he did the day
before in the same order, way and time. Then pilgrims who are in
a hurry can leave for Makkah.
The sixth Day:
The third day of Ayyam al-Tashriq, the fourth day of Ayyam al-Nahr:
If the pilgrm remains late in Mina till the sunset of the third
day of Ayyam al-Nahr (sacrifice), then he must throw the three jamarat
on the fourth day and the time of Ramy (throwing) is from sunrise
till sunset.
“(And
remember Allah during [specific] numbered days. Then whoever hastens
[his departure] in two days – there is no sin upon him; and whoever
delays [until the third] – there is no sin upon him - for him who
fears Allah. And fear Allah and know that unto Him you will be gathered”).
Then pilgrims leave in haste to Makkah.
